What we look after

Six lanes of care

Pick the lane closest to your reason for coming in. Each one tells you how long the appointment runs and who it suits, so you can ask for the right slot the first time.

01

Everyday consultations

Coughs that won't shift, pain, rashes, infections, fatigue, sleep, mood. One clear problem per visit, with time to talk through what happens next rather than a prescription at the door.

  • 25 minutes
  • Same-week slots

02

Family and child health

Newborn checks, childhood development, feeding and growth worries, school-age illness, and the teenage years. Younger children are booked into the quieter mid-morning hours.

  • 30 minutes
  • Siblings together

03

Long-term condition reviews

Blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, thyroid and cholesterol. We plan these ahead so your bloods are done first and the review itself is spent on the results and the next six months.

  • 40 minutes
  • Bloods beforehand

04

Women's and men's health

Contraception and coil checks, cervical screening, menopause, prostate and urinary concerns, fertility questions. Booked with whichever clinician you prefer to see.

  • 30 minutes
  • Chaperone on request

05

Travel health and vaccination

A route-by-route plan for where you're going, plus routine adult and childhood immunisations and seasonal flu. Best arranged six to eight weeks before you leave.

  • 25 minutes
  • Nurse-led

06

Skin and minor procedures

Mole and lesion checks with a dermatoscope, cryotherapy, wound care, ear irrigation, joint injections and suture removal. If something needs a specialist, we say so plainly and refer.

Before you arrive

Your first visit, step by step

New patients tell us the unknowns are the stressful part. Here is the whole sequence, from the request form to the follow-up note.

01

Send the request

Tell us the reason and roughly when suits. We reply the same working day with two or three times to choose from.

02

Register once

A short health history, your medicines and any allergies. Ten minutes online beforehand, or on paper when you arrive.

03

The consultation

Twenty-five unhurried minutes. Examination if it's needed, then a written plan you leave with — not a verbal blur.

04

What follows

Tests, prescriptions or a referral are arranged before you go, and results are explained by the clinician who ordered them.

The practice

The people you'll see

A small team on purpose. Continuity is the point of a practice this size, so you are not retelling your history at every appointment.

Repeat prescriptions

Request repeats at least three working days ahead through the form below, naming the medicine and dose. Anything needing a review is flagged back to you with a slot rather than quietly delayed.

Test results

Bloods and swabs are usually back within three working days. The clinician who ordered them reviews every result and contacts you either way, so no news is not a verdict.

What to bring

A list of current medicines and doses, any specialist letters, and the dates of recent tests done elsewhere. For children, bring the immunisation record if you have it.

If we're closed

Out of hours, use your local urgent care or emergency service. Requests sent overnight are answered the next working morning in the order they arrive.

Before you book

Questions patients ask

The eight we answer most often. If yours isn't here, add it to the notes field in the request form.

Do I have to register before my first appointment?

No. Send the request first and we will hold a slot. Registration is a short health-history form you can complete online beforehand or on paper when you arrive, and it only has to be done once.

How quickly can I be seen?

Routine appointments are usually available within the same week. The first half hour of each clinic day is reserved for urgent same-day requests from registered patients, and Tuesday evenings tend to open up last.

Can I choose which clinician I see?

Yes, and we encourage it. Name your preference in the request and we will offer that clinician's times first. For procedures and skin clinics the appointment goes to whoever runs that session.

What does an appointment cost?

Fees depend on the appointment length and anything done during it, such as vaccines or a procedure. You are told the full cost when we confirm the time, and again before any extra is added on the day.

Can you see my children?

Yes. We look after newborns through the teenage years, and we schedule younger children into the quieter mid-morning hours. Siblings can usually be seen back to back in one visit.

Is an interpreter or a chaperone available?

Both, at no extra cost. Ask in the notes field when you request a time so we can arrange it in advance, and tell us which language you would prefer to consult in.

Are the consulting rooms step-free?

Both consulting rooms and the procedure room are on one level with step-free access, wide doorways and an accessible washroom. A height-adjustable couch is available in either room on request.

What if I need to change or cancel?

Reply to your confirmation at any point and we will move it. Letting us know a day ahead means the slot goes to someone waiting, which is how same-week appointments stay possible.

Appointment request

Tell us what you need

One short form. No account, no waiting on hold. We read every request ourselves and reply with real times, not a callback promise.

  1. We read your request on the next working morning at the latest.
  2. You get two or three times that match your reason and preference.
  3. Confirm the one that works and we send the registration form.
  4. If what you describe needs urgent care instead, we say so immediately.

Please don't include detailed medical history here — we will ask at the appointment. If your symptoms are severe or sudden, contact urgent care rather than waiting for our reply.
